ATLANTA— Today, Georgia House Democrats announce their Healthy Georgia Legislative Agenda series of virtual town halls. The town halls will take place via Facebook Live on Monday and Wednesday evenings at 5:00pm over the next two weeks and will be hosted by members of the Georgia House Democratic Caucus who are experts in the areas of policy which the Healthy Georgia Legislative Agenda plans to address: Health, education, accountability, and liberty. The hosts of the town halls will discuss current legislation and answer questions from the audience. “It is our hope that these town halls will bring more of our citizens into the process by providing a platform for our constituents to directly engage with our members,” said Caucus Leader Beverly. “This is about transparency; we want our voters— from every corner of the state— to be well informed on the issues being debated under the Gold Dome and I think we’ve developed events to do just that."

The first virtual town hall will take place this Wednesday, Feb. 3, 2021 at 5pm via Facebook Live. The event will be hosted by Rep. Buckner (D - Junction City), Rep. Robichaux (D – Roswell), and Rep. Mitchell (D – Snellville) as they discuss the solutions Georgia House Democrats are proposing to fix our state’s crippled healthcare system and answer questions from the audience.
